This is a beautiful story from Ben Bloom.

Last Day Recap: Our brave journalists in Paris didn't spend the final day of the games relaxing and drinking expensive wine. They were working hard to cover all the events.

This is really cool. Do you want to see who won each specific award, at what time, on what date and in which location? We have all the information you need right here.

Top highlights of the 2024 Games? Do you agree or disagree with these picks? What moments did we overlook and what didn't quite live up to the hype? These topics need discussion. Share your thoughts by sending an email to the mailbag.

The ultimate prize tally isn't the main focus, right?

As we get closer to the main event, I'll be sharing some of our reports and features from the last day of action in Paris. The TV coverage of the event on the Beeb doesn't start until 7pm. Currently, Countryfile is airing on Channel One, posing questions about life choices and dreams of rural living. Channel 4 is showing a documentary about crisps, not exactly Olympic material, and ITV is airing yet another Harry Potter movie. It seems like a typical Sunday evening lineup.

In any case, this is a superior choice compared to the options mentioned earlier. The photographers at The Guardian have put together a stunningly beautiful selection of photos from the last two weeks. Take pleasure in viewing them.

It's done. Well, almost.

I can't believe it's only been two weeks since Paris 2024 started! There has been so much athletic action since then that it feels like ages ago when everyone was focused on the rainy Seine River and the athlete parades.

Céline Dion's rendition of Edith Piaf's Hymne a l'amour really turned things around after a somewhat disorganized opening ceremony. Her performance set the stage for the success of the two weeks that followed. It's been quite a memorable event, hasn't it?

We will have lots of time to talk about the exciting, challenging, great moments, and not-so-great moments in the next few hours. Feel free to contact us using the information on the left side of the page to share your thoughts on everything that has happened and to comment on the upcoming closing ceremony. I can't do this by myself, so please join in the conversation.

Is the transition of the Olympics from Paris to LA going to be successful, or will there be some obstacles along the way? It appears that Tom Cruise will descend from the top of the Stade de France stadium roof, and Billie Eilish, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and H.E.R are scheduled to perform. And, of course, Paris 2024’s biggest fan, Snoop Dogg, will also be there. Hopefully, Snoop doesn't mess up the symbolic baton pass, as he has a reputation for dropping it... oh, I can't even think about it.

Renowned French music acts Air and Phoenix will be performing alongside the upcoming immersive experience curated by Artistic director Thomas Jolly, which guarantees to take audiences on a captivating journey through time in a science-fiction dream-like setting. This insider information is not breaking news.

There is a lot happening in the next few hours - the closing ceremony starts at 8pm BST and will end at 10.30pm BST. I will be here the whole time. Let the Games begin to wrap up!
