Music star Olivia Rodrigo is going to support Chelsea at Old Trafford as they take on Manchester United in the Premier League tonight.
The 21-year-old music sensation, famous for hits such as "Good 4 U," "Vampire," and "Drivers License," announced her support for Chelsea in August 2023. She attended her very first football game, which featured a match between Chelsea and Liverpool at Stamford Bridge. The game ended in a 1-1 tie, with Luis Diaz scoring first and Axel Disasi scoring the equalizer.
After the match, Rodrigo got the opportunity to meet defender Ben Chilwell near the field, where he presented her with a shirt. Excited to share the moment with her 38.2 million followers on Instagram, Rodrigo wrote: "Hi, I'm Olivia Rodrigo, and today I’m at the Bridge for my first-ever football match."

She mentioned, "I had an amazing experience and I'm really glad I was able to attend." Later on, Chilwell shared his excitement on social media after discovering that Rodrigo had become a fan of Chelsea.
The club's official account posted: "We've got a new Chelsea supporter: Olivia Rodrigo!" and "Olivia Rodrigo is officially a Blue!" However, the reason why Rodrigo decided to attend this specific game is still a bit of a mystery.
Her boyfriend, Louis Partridge, has been spending a lot of time in Manchester lately, as he is filming his Netflix series, House of Guinness, in Stockport. In July, the pair was spotted shopping in Ancoats, indicating that their enjoyment of Manchester could be a reason for their visit to the city today.
Fans can anticipate Rodrigo's comeback to Manchester next year when her tour arrives at the Co-Op Live Arena.
