The famous band from Manchester, Oasis, has sparked rumors about getting back together after posting a mysterious message on social media on Monday (20 May).
In 2009, the band Oasis disbanded due to a harsh disagreement between siblings and fellow band members, Liam and Noel Gallagher. Recently, in February, the band was proposed to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but were not chosen due to Liam's negative response towards the nomination.
A recent update on the organization's social media profile has sparked discussion about a potential reunion that has been vehemently denied for years. The update showcases a video displaying an aerial view of an expansive property situated near a rural river, encircled by towering hills.
A video that lasts 14 seconds was shared on X/Twitter without any explanation or description. The video features some music in the background, but it's not very clear.
Since it was released, fans have been imploring the band to respond because the video has garnered over 1.5 million views in just one day.
"Hey Liam, can you explain it? You and Noel had a phone conversation while you were drunk yesterday celebrating Manchester City's league victory and talked about getting together?" implored a fan.
Some people pleaded, "Can someone please explain what the heck this is supposed to mean?" while others asked, "Seriously guys, we need some clarification on this."
A few individuals were filled with hope about the likelihood of the band getting back together. They expressed their excitement by commenting: "Just picture the reunion at Leeds, wow wow!"
Nevertheless, some keen observers noticed that the abode bore resemblance to the English studio in which Oasis laid down their inaugural album, "Definitely Maybe". The musical group dropped their initial smash hit on August 30th, 1994, so the present year denotes the 30th anniversary of its launch.
One fan shared a picture of the studio in the comments section and commented that they are only teasing a 30th anniversary album for Definitely Maybe. They further explained that the studio is where the album was originally recorded and that there is nothing else to see there except for preparations for the anniversary celebration.

"Relax, they might be just putting out the trial versions of Definitely Maybe," suggested someone else.
Liam, who worked together with John Squire, the guitar player of The Stone Roses, in a recent collaboration, chatted with The Guardian earlier this year, and he firmly stated that Oasis wouldn't become unknown in any way.
He stated that he would not allow Oasis to become one of the bands that only release an album every 10 years and wrap it in cellophane. This seems to dismiss the possibility of creating an anniversary record.
Back in October of the previous year, Liam made public that he was planning to embark on a tour by himself across the regions of the UK and Ireland. This tour would serve as a celebration for the 30th anniversary of the album. As for the older brother, Noel, it has been rumored that he has been neglecting any attempts at reconciling with Liam ever since their explosive argument backstage in Paris that took place back in 2009.
During his guest appearance on the Pub Talk podcast in October 2022, Noel expressed that it would take a unique and unlikely series of events for Oasis to reunite.
