Oasis fans have expressed that they feel “heartbroken” and “disappointed” after not getting a chance to participate in a private drawing for additional shows at Wembley.

This afternoon, the band revealed that they had sent out all the emails containing the information and codes necessary for obtaining the last tickets.

This comes after a record-breaking interest in reuniting the Britpop band nearly 15 years after their contentious breakup in 2009.

Last month, an unprecedented number of individuals tried to purchase tickets for a gig, causing Ticketmaster's website to crash.

In a recent announcement, Oasis shared: "Fans who were chosen in the private lottery have now been reached out to with details about the ticket sale and their unique access codes."

Oasis announced on Instagram that the ticket lottery is now closed.

The codes were dispatched to the email linked to their Ticketmaster account and ballot registration.

The interest in these shows is unlike anything we've seen before. Having a code doesn't ensure you'll get a ticket. Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

It wasn't the announcement that fans without tickets were wishing for, and many expressed their anger on social media.

"I'm feeling really down – I made it into the ballot but didn't receive a code, and I've spent 9 hours waiting in Ticketmaster's queues," shared someone on X, previously known as Twitter.

"Completely heartbroken," echoed another.

"I've never been to a concert before, and yours is the only one I’ve really wanted to attend," sighed another person.

In a statement released on Wednesday, the band expressed their optimism that the new strategy for selling tickets through a private ballot would make it easier for fans, decreasing the hassle and time required to secure tickets.

The sale for the additional two days at Wembley on Saturday will be divided into three time slots: from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM, and 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM.

Many successful individuals, like 17-year-old Nathan Palmer, shared their excitement about receiving a ballot code. However, they also expressed concerns about the fierce competition they will face on Saturday to obtain a ticket.

He had waited in line to buy four tickets for an Oasis concert, but by the time it was his turn, Ticketmaster had already increased the prices from £140 to £360 each. "We all felt that was way too expensive, so we decided not to buy any tickets," he explained.

"We all registered for the new presale lottery, and only one of us received the code. The email mentions that ticket prices will definitely be between £75 and £200, which is more affordable. So, we feel a bit more optimistic about our chances of getting tickets this time."

The extra tickets for Wembley on Saturday will be available in three separate timeframes throughout the day: from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM, and 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM.
