Guimaraes double helps Newcastle beat Forest

The last time Guimaraes managed to score two goals in a game was back in October 2022.

An intelligent maneuver by the Brazilian resulted in his first goal, and he demonstrated similar smart play for the game-winning goal. He seized the opportunity when Elanga made a mistake and quickly located the perfect spot to score in the Forest net.

Howe may still have some worries about his team's defensive performance, as they haven't been able to prevent their opponents from scoring any goals since the period before Christmas.

Earlier this week, the manager of Newcastle had to stand up for Dan Burn, referring to him as a wholly dedicated Newcastle player. This followed some criticism of Burn's performance during the Luton match.
