Nottm Forest vs Man United

Nottingham Forest are set for their first domestic cup semi-final since 1992 when they host Manchester United in the Carabao Cup this evening - kick-off 8pm.

Steve Cooper's side will be hoping to take a first leg lead to Old Trafford next week for the return fixture, as the two sides fight for a place in next month's Wembley final against either Southampton or Newcastle United. Forest certainly have not had it easy to progress to this stage of the competition, beating Tottenham Hotspur with 10 men in the third round and Wolverhampton Wanderers on penalties in the quarter-finals.

They also defeated Grimsby Town and Blackburn Rovers along the way.

Given it is a semi-final, the game will be screened live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football in the UK, with coverage scheduled to begin an hour before kick-off at 7pm.

You can also live stream the match on the Sky Go app or via Now TV. BBC Radio 5 Live and talkSPORT will also be providing live commentary of the game if for whatever reason, you are unable to watch it live. Forest manager Cooper insists his side will "attack the game" in what is set to be an incredible atmosphere.

He said: "It’s a semi-final, we really want to commit to it, we really want to attack it. Obviously it’s Man United, it’s over two legs, incredibly tough games – but ones we want to have no regrets about.

"We’re in the semi-final of an important cup. I think we should go into it thinking they don’t come along very often, so treat it like it might be the last one.

"There’s a real good feeling about the semi-final in the city, the stadium will obviously be the atmosphere that it’s been every single game so far this season, which has been incredible, and we should really embrace that."
