After nine long weeks of skating the winner of the 2023 series of Dancing On Ice has finally been crowned, our very own The Vivienne, gymnast Nile Wilson and The Only Way is Essex legend Joey Essex provided fans with an entertaining final with Nile Wilson coming out on top.
All three finalists took to the ice in a battle skate in the final in a twist. While nobody won the battle all three couples impressed on the ice showcasing what they can do.
However, it was the impressive showcase skates that kicked off the final and they are there for the celebrities to show off everything they have learnt over the past few months. Nile Wilson and Olivia Smart excelled with that skate scoring an impressive 40 out of 40.

Then it was time for the public to have their say for the first time in the final. The votes meant it was The Vivienne and Colin Grafton who finished the 2023 series in third place and missed out on the chance to skate the Bolero.
After surviving the first vote of the final Joey and Nile got the ultimate chance to skate their version of the famous Bolero. Nile alongside Olivia took to the ice and performed a poignant Bolero routine that showcased just how far the gymnast has come on the ice.
The emotional skate was not marked by the judges but all four judges were extremely impressed with the iconic skate. It was then down to the public once again to choose who they wanted to be crowned the 2023 champions of Dancing On Ice.
After a tense few moments, it was time for Nile Wilson and Joey Essex to find out their fate. Hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby announced Nile Wilson and Olivia Smart as the 2023 champions.
The pair were left stunned and visibly emotional at the news that they are the new Dancing On Ice champions.
