YouTuber Nikocado Avocado Reveals Surprise 250 Pound Weight Loss

In a video called "Two Steps Ahead," YouTuber Nikocado Avocado started off by wearing a panda head costume, similar to the one pictured here, before opening up about the complexities in his life that are not as clear-cut as they may seem.

Nikocado Avocado, a popular YouTuber with 3.9 million subscribers, started his newest video titled "Two Steps Ahead" by wearing a panda costume head. However, this video was not his usual eating show. Avocado surprised his fans by sharing some unexpected revelations about himself after taking off the panda head. He talked about how there is more to him than meets the eye.

Avocado, a Ukrainian-American who calls himself the "King of Mukbangs," mentioned in a YouTube video from earlier this year that he weighed 359 pounds. It's important to remember that the video may not be entirely accurate. Avocado did not start the trend of "mukbang videos," and there is no official royalty in the mukbang world. The mukbang trend originated in South Korea but has since become popular worldwide. These videos typically show people eating large quantities of food on camera, similar to Avocado's most recent video uploaded on his YouTube channel seven months ago. In that video, he was seen indulging in a massive portion of spicy cheesy fire noodles.

If you follow Avocado's videos, you might have been expecting his next video to just be him eating like usual. But that's not what happened. In his latest video called "Two Steps Ahead," which he posted on Friday, Avocado talked about what he called "the most important social experiment I've ever done." He then took off his panda head and showed himself looking lighter than usual, surprising his fans. You can watch it here:

In the video, Avocado shared, "I recently had a long dream and realized I lost 250 pounds from my body." He went on to express, "Just the other day, people were criticizing me for being overweight, unhealthy, dull, and insignificant. People can be so messed up sometimes."

It's probable that Avocado didn't lose weight quickly. It would have been almost impossible. In a different video on another one of Avocado's channels, he confessed, "I haven't made a video in about two years." It seems like some of his recent videos were recorded ahead of time. Avocado is the only one who really knows when he started losing weight and how he did it. I have contacted Avocado for more information.

The "Two Steps Ahead" video brought attention to the issue of fat shaming, where people make fun of others for their body weight. Sadly, fat shaming is still a prevalent problem in society. Whether it's on social media or in the words of politicians, examples of fat shaming can easily be found. That's why The Roundtable on Obesity Solutions, hosted by the National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine, is working to address this issue and tackle weight stigma overall.

Weight stigma comes from the mistaken belief that being overweight is just a result of not having enough self-control, eating too much, and not being active. In reality, many individuals dealing with obesity are conscientious about their eating habits and stick to rigorous exercise routines. People can have varied reasons for their weight, such as genetics, lifestyles, environments, and social factors. These factors can play a significant role in determining a person's body weight and composition.

With that said, although mukbang videos can be fun to watch, they shouldn't be your go-to source for healthy eating tips. It's like trying to use superhero movies for workout advice or job tips. Most mukbang videos show meals with huge portions and too many unhealthy ingredients like salt and sugar.

Moreover, it can be difficult to determine if the individual in the video actually consumed all of the items displayed. The content shown in YouTube videos may not accurately reflect real life. Avocado's music video for "Two Steps Ahead" serves as additional proof of this concept.
