The radio host had leased the fancy villa to commemorate his 40th birthday and posted a photo of himself relaxing in the sun on Instagram last week. However, he has since removed the picture.

The group of robbers focused on the mansion during the nighttime, as Grimshaw and the rest of the visitors were asleep.

Grimshaw's companions at the villa were his 81-year-old mother Eileen and his partner Meshach Henry, who is a dancer and model.

An informant informed The Sun, the first to publish the report, that "there have been a series of assaults in high-end vacation homes throughout Ibiza this summer".

They mentioned that Nick's villa was unfortunately included on the target list because it is well-known for being used by wealthy clients.

The group probably didn't recognize him at all. Unfortunately, he happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, which is definitely frightening.

Nick was clearly unhappy but decided it was better not to post about it on social networks.

They stated, "At the time of the raid, Grimmy, his mother, and his pals were at the villa."

Fortunately, they were still in bed, but it was quite disturbing to open their eyes to that scene.

It is thought that the attack happened on the island of Spain a few weeks ago.

No one was injured and Grimshaw is said to be back at his residence in north London without any harm.

Grimshaw presented a range of programs on BBC Radio 1, including the main morning show, before departing from the station after a 14-year run in 2021.

He was a judge on The X Factor in 2015, but only remained on the ITV talent show for a year.

Grimshaw is now a co-host on the Sidetracked podcast with DJ Annie MacManus and also makes appearances on Celebrity Gogglebox with his niece Liv, who has a job in the fashion industry.
