A brand new sports complex costing £6.3 million has just opened in Moredon. The facility includes football fields, biking tracks, and a modern pavilion.

At all times, many photographers are seen in Wiltshire taking pictures of different aspects of life, including news, sports, and live events.

Not only were there opportunities for cycling and playing on the 3G pitch, but there were also grass fields available. Three of these were reserved for football, while two were set up for cricket.

A brand new sports center with a variety of facilities, such as cycling tracks for competitions, a well-lit 3G field, and a BMX course, was unveiled this week.

Moredon Sporting Hub in Swindon was built at a cost of £6.3 million, with funding sourced from a variety of places, including local councils.

It pledged to provide recreation and fun for people of all ages and to showcase fresh pastimes at an upcoming event called Family Open Day.

The time capsule, packed with items from students, will act as a connection between the current time and the time ahead.

An occasion: Silverwood School in Rowde recently held a special event to bury a time capsule filled with items and letters from the students.

A brand new campus costing £38.5 million will be constructed at the school. This new facility will feature a two-story teaching facility with a hydrotherapy pool, a state-of-the-art sports pitch, outdoor playing fields, and ample parking space.

The museum is located in a refurbished area on the second level of the art deco Civic Offices.

Exciting news: Swindon's brand new museum and art gallery had its grand debut on Tuesday, welcoming visitors for the very first time.

The previous location shut down during the Covid-19 outbreak.

The exhibit follows the history of the town in Wiltshire all the way up to the present day, showcasing its extensive assortment of contemporary artwork.

During the war, a woman shared her recipe for fruit cake with her meal delivery service and was pleasantly surprised when they actually made the cake for her.

Piece of the past: Wiltshire Farm Foods has remade well-known cakes from the wartime era, using recipes shared by customer Doreen Binder.

During the war, bakers needed to think outside the box and get creative with their recipes due to rationing. They had to use unconventional ingredients such as vinegar to make do with the limited supplies available.

She used her saved money to rent the hall at Meadowcroft Community Centre for the head shaving event.

Narrow escape: A 12-year-old girl named Maisy from Swindon collected over £1,000 by shaving her head for charity.

She decided to back the Wiltshire Air Ambulance after her grandmother Julie suffered a heart attack at home on 30 May.

The team refers to themselves as the Golf Course Liberation Army.

Extremely exciting: A group of 100 kids from local schools gathered to protest at an old golf course in Bradford on Avon.

They are advocating for the 44-acre land to be preserved and not be used for building homes in the future. On Sunday, they carried signs with messages such as 'nature is essential for children' and 'maintain the natural state of the golf course'.
