An innovative mentor has been selected to provide guidance to aspiring business owners throughout the Newcastle-under-Lyme area.

Rachel Till will offer expert guidance to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council and Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Growth Hub. This partnership aims to boost growth in 2024.

Rachel has been appointed to a new position, which is funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) from the Government. She will use her skills as a coach and leadership mentor to provide guidance and assistance to businesses in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

Sarah Simpson, who is a member of Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Growth Hub, made a statement:

Rachel's meeting is part of a range of activities and schemes provided by UKSPF in the locality, designed to support the growth of businesses.

Through collaborating with Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council, we have established a chance for enterprises within the area to acquire supplementary professional assistance.

Rachel will be conducting a variety of workshops and providing individual assistance in the borough.

I am so thrilled to commence my work, visit different enterprises and assist them in expanding their operations.

I will be heading out to listen and understand their requirements. Based on my own experience, I will guide them towards the available assistance.

Assisting nearby enterprises is among the three main 'Levelling Up' concepts arranged by Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council. It is also accompanied by the themes of community and place, and people and skills.
