The beginning of the Nations League is approaching and the English team will be playing their first game in League B against the Republic of Ireland on their own turf. Meanwhile, the Scottish squad will have the chance to debut in League A at home, welcoming the Polish team.
The game scheduled for Dublin is set to happen on Saturday, September 7th at 5:00 PM BST.

The upcoming matches between the Republic and England will mark the first official games of competition since a qualifying match for Euro 92 took place at Wembley in 1991. A friendly in 2020 was the most recent encounter between the two teams, with England emerging victorious with a score of 3-0.
Scotland successfully won Group B1 previously and as a result, progressed to the top tier of the Nations League for the first time. They are set to compete with Portugal and Croatia in League A1.

The sporting regulatory body of Europe, Uefa, has directed all Belarusian teams and national squads participating in its tournaments to have their home games played at an alternative location starting from March 2022. This decision is due to Belarus' backing of Russia's military assault on Ukraine.
On the 18th of November, Northern Ireland's last match will take place in Luxembourg.
The quarter-finals of League A and the promotion/relegation play-offs are scheduled to happen in March 2025. Following that, there will be single-leg semi-finals and a final held in June 2025.
The team from Spain currently holds the championship title, which they earned by prevailing in a penalty shootout against Croatia during the final match in June of last year.
