Bus operators employed by National Express in the West Midlands region have shown their support for a fresh salary agreement.

The conclusion of a series of strikes by members of the Unite union has been brought about, subsequent to staff's efforts to demand improved wages and work environment.

According to Unite, a pay increase of 16.2% above the inflation rate has been reached in negotiations with the transportation company.

A 'fantastic win' is the term used for a successful negotiation.

According to the General Secretary of the union, the agreement was made possible due to the solidarity of the employees who stood united.

On Monday 20th March, a group of drivers protested in Coventry by forming a picket line.

National Express West Midlands has verified that the activity is concluding.

The organization is cautioning travelers that there will continue to be a limited schedule available for tomorrow and a small amount of disturbance on Monday.
