A TikTok celebrity referred to by his fans as Mr. Prada has been taken into custody in Texas after the brutal killing of a therapist took place about 400 miles away in Louisiana.

Terryon Ishmael Thomas was sought by authorities for charges related to serious damage to property, obstruction of law enforcement, and illegal use of a vehicle after the passing of 69-year-old William Nicholas Abraham.

The 20-year-old, who has 8.2 million followers online, was allegedly seen driving the victim’s car—a black Lincoln MKZ—in Dallas, just a few days after Abraham's body was discovered. He was taken into custody after he initially didn't stop when asked.

According to an arrest warrant, Thomas reportedly reversed the vehicle into the police cruiser before fleeing through a red light, causing an accident and escaping from law enforcement.

The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office shared still images from surveillance video of Thomas before his arrest, identifying him as a person of interest in the case.

According to online records, he was taken into custody at the Dallas County Jail on Monday night.

According to the sheriff's office, Abraham's body was found on Sunday morning along a highway located between the unincorporated area of Fluker and the Village of Tangipahoa in Louisiana.

His body was discovered wrapped in a tarp, partially concealed by the side of the road roughly 60 miles northeast of Baton Rouge, where authorities indicated he had been employed. According to the police, he had suffered severe physical abuse, resulting in numerous bruises on his head and neck.

The Tangipahoa Parish Coroner’s Office later stated that the initial findings indicated the death was a result of homicide, caused by blunt force trauma.

The police have not yet disclosed any reasons behind the murder, and it's unclear if the victim was acquainted with Thomas.

As stated in a biography on his website, Abraham was a life coach, a licensed counselor, a motivational speaker, and an author. His office was located approximately seven miles east of downtown Baton Rouge, in the Mid City South area of the city.

Abraham's family shared with WBRZ that he left his house on Saturday to wash his car. After that, he mentioned he would head to his office to take care of some paperwork. He informed his roommate that he would be gone for a few hours, but he never came back.

The Independent has contacted the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office, which is managing the case, to obtain more details.
