Tess Daly, a judge on Strictly Come Dancing, was taken aback and remarked, "that never happens," following Montell Douglas' performance on Saturday night (September 28). The beloved BBC dance competition was back for its second live show of the season, featuring 15 celebrities paired up with professional dancers, all vying for the chance to win the Glitterball trophy.

Once all the contestants showcased their skills in front of the judges, Tasha from Love Island and her partner Aljaz emerged at the top of the leaderboard, receiving an impressive score of 35 for their emotional Viennese Waltz that moved the audience to tears. On the other hand, Paul and Karen found themselves at the bottom, scoring just 15 points for their Salsa performance.

Also ranking high on the leaderboard were Gladiator Montell and her partner Johannes, who wowed the judges with their Samba, earning them a perfect score of 30. However, it was a remark from Craig Revel Horwood regarding Montell's dance that left host Tess Daly in shock.

Following her fiery Salsa performance, Craig remarked to Montell, "You did a great job," as the audience erupted in applause. He added, "You really went all out, darling, you brought that full Brazilian energy."

He went on to say, "I absolutely adored it," which made Tess gasp in surprise. She turned to Montell and exclaimed, "That’s a rare occurrence! Huge congrats! We all enjoyed it as well. Now go and find out your scores."
