Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi have tied the knot and are now legally married.

Over the previous weekend, the young actor from Stranger Things at the age of 20, along with a 22-year-old model partner, got married in a private wedding function surrounded by their closest family and friends. Apparently, the bride's renowned father, Jon Bon Jovi, who was part of the 80s rock band "Bon Jovi," also attended the event. According to an insider, it was a very intimate and affectionate event where the couple exchanged their vows with their nearest and dearest present to witness it.

The media reports that the couple has organized a private ceremony, but they are also planning a larger wedding later this year.

The main star in Stranger Things declared her engagement with Bongiovi in April 2023 when she was only 19 years old. She shared a charming black and white picture on Instagram and quoted Taylor Swift's words from "Lover", saying: "I've loved you three summers now, honey, I want 'em all." After two months, the duo celebrated an intimate engagement bash. They took some pictures posing together in front of white balloons shaped like hearts. There was also a bright sign glowing with the words: "Mr & Mrs Bongiovi."

The couple got engaged almost 24 months after they officially announced their relationship by posting a picture together in June 2019. In a recent interview with The Sunday Times, Brown talked about how they are preparing for their wedding and shared that her partner, who is also a musician, asked her to marry him using a ring that belonged to her mom, Kelly.

She shared with the media that she has always been fond of that particular ring as it has caught her attention from the start. Her mother then handed it over to her fiance, Jake, as they conspired together for the marriage proposal. She expressed her gratitude that she can now keep a token of her mother's presence with her always.

Since their first encounter, Brown sensed an instant connection with her partner, as if she had found her perfect match. She shared, "I hurriedly went to my mother and exclaimed, 'I truly adore him!' After our meeting, we both concluded that we didn't want to be separated. It's inexplicable, but that feeling of certainty settles in, affirming that you want to spend eternity with that special someone."

I feel like many people tend to overanalyze things in life. However, my situation was different because I knew what I wanted. He was the only thing in my life that made complete and utter sense, so I didn't have to put in much effort trying to figure things out.

During a conversation with Glamour, the performer from Enola Holmes acknowledged the emerging singer for aiding her in accepting and appreciating every aspect of herself that she once disliked. She conveyed to the media source that when she encountered Jake, she sensed she had the liberty to express herself loudly. Jake not only welcomed and supported this, but it also led her to become enamored with the person she is while being around him.

After going through a negative experience, she was feeling down, but her entire outlook on relationships transformed when she met Bongiovi. Previously, she had been hesitant to assert herself and reveal her true self in relationships, admitting: "I believe that I was too fearful to be a powerful woman in a relationship."

Brown expressed that she had a strange and unique feeling of closeness with Bongiovi that she had never encountered before, which was very intense and unexpected.

She expressed her desire to become a woman like her mother and grandmother had been to her. Being a wife was not her primary goal. However, after meeting Jake, she realized that she did not have to conform to the traditional wife role, which he did not expect her to do either. Jake supported her in pursuing her dreams and goals, as she held his hand. This made her realize that she desired to have such a supportive partner in her life.
