Mike Tyson is reportedly doing well after experiencing a health scare during his flight from Miami to Los Angeles over the weekend. Despite this incident, the former boxing champion is said to be doing great overall.
As reported by In Touch Weekly, there was a medical emergency concerning Tyson, who is set to compete against Jake Paul in a boxing match on July 20th. When the plane landed, paramedics had to come on board to provide aid.
According to a statement from Tyson's representatives, he is doing well after becoming ill during a recent flight. They report that he experienced nausea and dizziness due to a flare-up of an ulcer shortly before landing. Tyson is grateful to the medical professionals who provided assistance.
There were gossip and hearsay about Tyson's medical problem causing a delay in the flight, however, his spokespersons dismissed those claims.
The representative declared that the information about the medical attention being the reason for the flight delay was untrue. The delay of two hours occurred because the aircraft had an air conditioning problem.
The upcoming boxing match at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas promises to be an epic event as 57-year-old Tyson steps back into the ring after an absence of almost 20 years to face off against 27-year-old Paul. Fans around the world will be able to watch the fight as it will be streamed live on Netflix.
When the two fighters enter the ring to battle it out for the heavyweight title, Tyson will have already reached the age of 58, making him 31 years older than Paul. The bout will consist of eight rounds, each lasting two minutes, and both fighters will wear 14-ounce gloves.
