West Ham United has announced that Michail Antonio has had surgery to repair a fracture in his leg after being involved in a car accident on Saturday afternoon, December 7, 2024.
Michail will remain under observation in the hospital for the next few days.
The entire Club sends its best wishes to Michail for a quick recovery and wants to sincerely thank the broader football community for the incredible support received since the news broke yesterday. We also want to express our heartfelt appreciation to the emergency services and first responders who helped Michail right after the incident, as well as the medical team that continues to assist him on his path to recovery.
