Michael Mosley, who is a popular TV doctor and columnist, has been reported missing while vacationing on the Greek island of Symi. According to his agent, a search and rescue mission is currently underway to find him. Unfortunately, the 67-year-old did not come back from his hike on June 5th.

"Have you laid your eyes on this individual?" a message shared on a nearby Facebook community page posted along with an image of the television health specialist.

At around 1:30 PM, Dr. Mike Mosley commenced his journey to walk back from St. Nick's, but he hasn't reached home yet. His buddies are anxious as it's been six hours since they spotted him last. Dr. Mike Mosley is a well-known personality for several individuals residing in Britain.

Prior to entering the field of healthcare, Dr. Mosley pursued a career in banking in the city of London. This decision came after achieving an undergraduate degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) from New College, Oxford.

He switched careers from banking to medicine and enrolled in a medical psychology program at the Royal Free Hospital Medical School, ultimately becoming a qualified doctor after completion.

After growing disillusioned with psychiatry, Dr. Mosley transitioned to a career in television by joining the BBC's program for trainee assistant producers.

He has been occupied as a documentary producer and science reporter for the last 25 years. At present, he hosts the Just One Thing podcast for the BBC and pops up on shows such as This Morning and The One Show frequently.

Additionally, Dr. Michael Mosley featured in the Channel 4 show titled Michael Mosley: Who Caused the Obesity Epidemic in Britain? He also contributed to Trust Me, I'm A Doctor, a series by the BBC. In his documentary called Infested! Living with Parasites for BBC Four, he conducted a six-week-long experiment where he lived with tapeworms in his intestines.

Dr Mosley has been recognized with numerous awards for his contributions and has been nominated for an Emmy award for his BBC science documentary called The Human Face. The show was hosted by John Cleese and showcased various famous faces like Elizabeth Hurley, Pierce Brosnan, and David Attenborough.

The famous physician who appears on television is recognized for developing a diet program that helps people lose weight called the 5:2 diet. This method consists of two days per week where the person fasts. Additionally, the doctor has recommended a diet called The Fast 800, where individuals consume Mediterranean-inspired meals and engage in intermittent fasting.

When Dr. Mosley was last spotted in Greece, he had on a blue hat, blue top, and some shorts. According to a user on a nearby forum, he forgot his phone at his dwelling before commencing a hike on Wednesday morning.

Nowadays, it should be quite challenging to become lost on Symi island since a lot of the routes have been paved and there is a significant increase in movement, even in the most secluded regions, as per their statement.

Dr. Mosley and his spouse, Clare Bailey Mosley, who is also a doctor, writer, and health journalist, have three children together.

The MailOnline reported that Bailey, who is 62 years old, was worried when the person did not return by 7:30 p.m. He had gone for a hike in the afternoon on Wednesday.
