Michael Fassbender reveals the reason why he turned his back on his Hollywood career for FOUR years

During an upcoming episode of The Graham Norton Show, Michael Fassbender will disclose the activities he participated in during his four-year hiatus from acting.

The actor who starred in the X-Men franchise, aged 46, stopped working for four years after his work on Dark Phoenix in 2019. However, he didn't disclose the reason for his break during that time.

Now he's back in the movie business and ready to take on roles in The Killer and a brand-new football-themed comedy called Next Goal Wins.

During an interview with host Graham, Michael was asked about his four-year hiatus from Hollywood. He admitted to being "addicted" to endurance motor racing, as it enables him to fully immerse himself in the moment and forget about everything else.

According to Michael, he is obsessed with the sport that he is involved in and it just feels like the perfect fit for him. He doesn't have any interest in any other sports except for this one.

Michael is sitting on Graham's sofa together with Jennifer Saunders, the well-known comedian, Daisy Haggard from Back to Life series, Phil Wang, the comic, and the popular boy band Take That.

During the program, Jennifer discusses her first performance in a pantomime. She played the character of Captain Hook in the Peter Pan play held at the London Palladium.

She made a humorous remark that due to her age of 65, she sometimes struggles to remember the dance routine. Hence, she is confused about whether she should be permitted to wield a sword in the Peter Pan performance.

Daisy, who is 45 years old, has shared that her actual spouse, Joe Wilson, features alongside her in BBC's show called 'Boat Story' and portrays a character who sexually harasses her by sending inappropriate images of himself.

She states, "He is portraying a despicable role as a sexual predator, where he is required to send me explicit images."

After being offered the part, the production office gave him a ring and requested a snapshot of his visage to accurately select a compatible phallus.

The instant I laid eyes on the images, I was taken aback to such an extent that a loud cry escaped my lips.

Michael is a huge enthusiast of long-distance car racing. He describes himself as "hooked" on the sport because it provides an escape from reality where he can focus solely on the race.

The film was only shown in select theaters on October 27, but it became available to watch on Netflix just 14 days later on November 10. Despite taking its time to gain popularity, it ultimately found its audience through the streaming service.

Since its release, The Killer has become hugely popular on social media, with many fans describing it as a 'delightful' movie and some even naming it their 'top pick of the year'.

But positive feedback is not uncommon for Fincher, whose movies often gain a dedicated following and become cult favorites, like Fight Club and Zodiac.

Following a crucial narrowly avoided danger, a contract killer embarks on a worldwide search for his bosses while also struggling with his personal demons.

In the blog, it is talked about how Michael Fassbender's performance as a calm and composed murderer is noteworthy. He can be seen waiting in the shadows, enjoying The Smiths' music, and patiently waiting for the right moment to strike and take another life. His character shows no remorse for his actions.

Nevertheless, his heartless behavior rapidly begins to deteriorate when an attempted attack fails, and the murderer gets entangled in a chase stained with blood that spans across the world.
