According to the Met Office, there's a future chance of snowfall in the UK. This is because of an incoming Arctic blast which will bring more cold and snowy weather to the country.

Earlier this week, London and the South-East experienced snow and sleet as temperatures significantly dropped below the freezing point. This comes after a week of non-stop heavy rains.

The UK experienced a particularly chilly night on Tuesday, with the Met Office reporting it as the ninth coldest thus far this winter season. Aviemore, located in Scotland, experienced the lowest temperatures, dropping down to a freezing -11C.

The person who predicts the weather stated that the UK is going to experience a wind from the north and a cold spell from the Arctic on Sunday which will cause temperatures to decrease. Additionally, there is a possibility of more snowfall next week.

The leader of situational awareness at the Met Office, Will Lang, stated that the extremely chilly weather is expected to make a comeback during the upcoming weekend. This condition will affect the entire UK in the early days of the coming week.

At first, this signifies that there will be a higher amount of showers near the shorelines, which will gradually transform into snow for numerous regions, specifically in the northern parts.

According to a representative from the weather predictor, the temperature will decrease greatly in the upcoming week. In the southern region of England, the temperature will reach approximately 3 degrees Celsius while in the northern parts, it may even drop to freezing temperatures.

According to the forecasters, although the temperatures will remain low for the upcoming week in the UK, the wind chill will cause a much colder sensation on the skin. It is expected that Thursday will begin with wind and cold temperatures in the southern regions, while Friday will have a higher risk of frost in the northern areas. However, both days are forecasted to remain mostly free from precipitation.

On Friday, late night, a group of rain clouds will travel over the north part of Scotland. The next day, Saturday, it will move towards the south and may turn into light rain or cloud for certain areas.
