United had a strong start to their summer transfer activity with the acquisitions of Dutch striker Joshua Zirkzee from Bologne and French defender Leny Yoro from Lille.

Nevertheless, following the acquisition of two promising young players, Erik ten Hag is now eager to enhance the equilibrium of his team by recruiting two seasoned, skilled individuals.

Moroccan defender Mazraoui is being considered as a potential replacement for right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who is rumored to be transferring to Inter Milan.

As reported by talkSPORT, Manchester United and Bayern Munich have come to an agreement on a transfer fee ranging from £15m to £20m for the 26-year-old player to move to United.

Moving to Old Trafford would also mean that the former Ajax player would be starting his first season in the Premier League. He played 38 games in Germany after joining a top team in the Bundesliga in 2022.

In another place, United are no longer focused on signing Manuel Ugarte from Paris Saint-Germain. Instead, they are now interested in bringing in Zubimendi for a rumored fee of approximately £50m, as per reports from Spanish newspaper El Nacional.

Although Ugarte is still a player that United is interested in, they have not yet made a bid that matches Sociedad's asking price of £60 million for the Uruguayan midfielder.

In a substantial agreement totaling £59m, Ten Hag has already made a significant investment in Yoro and is now planning to allocate a comparable sum to acquire Zubimendi.

The 25-year-old player has played 144 games for Sociedad in the position of defensive midfielder. He substituted for Spain's captain, Rodri, during the final of Euro 2024 against England.

Joao Neves, a talented midfielder from Portugal, is rumored to be connected with United.

Nevertheless, the talented young player, currently a member of Benfica's team, is being sought after by other top European clubs. Both PSG and Arsenal have shown interest in acquiring his services.

However, it is questionable if a transfer to the Premier League is achievable with a release clause exceeding £100m.

Youssouf Fofana is a potentially cheaper choice and could be a great substitute for Casemiro, who is set to depart from Old Trafford in the upcoming summer.

Many teams are interested in the French player, as both AC Milan and West Ham have apparently offered to buy him from AS Monaco.
