A spokesperson for the city's ambulance service, Alberto Crescenti, stated that he had fallen from a height of approximately 40 meters and had sustained 'critical injuries that were not survivable.'
He stated, "A call was made at 5:04 PM local time reporting that an individual was found lying in an internal courtyard at Casa Sur."
At 5:11 PM, an ambulance reached the scene, and the man was pronounced dead.
Later, we discovered that he was a well-known singer. Sadly, the injuries he sustained from the fall turned out to be life-threatening. There was no chance of bringing him back to life.
Only a few days ago, the 23-year-old model from Texas asked her lawyers to send a cease and desist notice to the pop singer, claiming that he had been reaching out to her multiple times.

Only a few days ago, the 23-year-old model from Texas had her lawyers send a cease and desist letter to the pop star, claiming that he had been reaching out to her multiple times.
The dark-haired beauty also alleged that the singer was constantly reaching out to her friends and family, including her mother, Azteca Henry.
The star's legal team informed MailOnline: "Maya Henry sent a cease and desist notice to Payne last week due to the revelation of new and troubling information."
She has hired lawyers Marco Crawford and Daniel Cerna to act on her behalf. For now, that is all she has to say about the situation.
Last week, Henry, the daughter of wealthy personal-injury lawyer Thomas J. Henry, gave a harsh critique of Payne to her TikTok followers. She alleged that he has made extreme efforts to get in touch with her.
"Since our breakup, he keeps messaging me constantly, filling up my phone with texts. It's not just from his number; he uses various phone numbers, so I never know which one will reach me next," she explained.
The 31-year-old rose to prominence in 2010 on XFactor, alongside his former bandmates Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, and Louis Tomlinson, even though they initially tried out as solo performers.
"He keeps making new iCloud accounts to send me messages—it's always a different one. Whenever I notice a new notification on my phone, I think to myself, 'Oh great, not this again.'"
He'll send me an email, and on top of that, he'll constantly message my mom too. Does this seem typical to you?
Last week, the model claimed that Payne was using the strong loyalty of devoted One Direction fans on social media to attack her.
Payne and Henry were first seen together publicly in 2019, but their on-and-off relationship lasted three years before concluding in 2022. This was nearly a year after they decided to end their engagement.
The artist known for "Strip That Down For Me" has started a new relationship with Kate Cassidy, while Maya is busy promoting her first novel, Looking Forward. The book tells the story of a girl who finds love with a pop star, reflecting themes from real life.
She recently shared insights about the fictional aspects of her book, describing it as a work of fiction inspired by real experiences from her own life.
In a recent episode of the podcast "The Internet is Dead," Maya discussed the extent to which her book incorporates fictional elements. She also mentioned that many of her fans did not believe the story was about her former partner.
Payne first appeared publicly with Henry in 2019, marking the beginning of their on-and-off relationship that lasted for three years. However, it ultimately ended in 2022, nearly a year after they ended their engagement.
Maya highlighted a few aspects she altered, stating: "Certain elements in the book are fictionalized, such as the changed names and different cities. For instance, I mention being from Tennessee in the story, but in reality, I'm from Texas."
Henry has been actively marketing her first novel, "Looking Forward," which is a love story inspired by real life. It follows a young woman who develops feelings for a pop star.
Maya proceeded to explain why supporters believed the book wasn't focused on Payne, who has a six-year-old son named Bear from his previous relationship with Cheryl Cole.
She mentioned, "Another important aspect was that many people thought this couldn't be related to Liam. When I discussed the topic of abortion, he responded with, 'Oh, I'm not ready for a child,' and that's because he already has a child."
Maya clarified her decision to adjust certain events, stating, "While that’s not how things actually happened, I chose to omit specific details for privacy reasons. I wanted to focus on sharing my story, which is why it’s presented as fiction."
When it comes to nonfiction, every detail must be accurate and complete; there’s no room for embellishment or omissions.
His last Snapchat update featured him joyfully posing alongside his partner, Kate Cassidy, as they gazed into a mirror (left). Another update displayed him contemplating a Forest Gump costume for Halloween (right).

She shared that some of the most difficult aspects of her experiences were not included in the narrative, stating, "I left out many things that were even harder than what I chose to share. So while it's based on real events, it’s still fictional."
In the last Snapchat post from the star, he can be seen joyfully taking a selfie with his partner, Kate Cassidy, as they both gaze into a mirror.
Additional updates from the last days of the star's life depicted him having lunch in his hotel room. During this time, he shared that they had been getting up at 1 PM each day and were considering dressing up as Forest Gump for Halloween.
In another heartbreaking selfie, the caption read: 'Beautiful day in Argentina.' Later, the celebrity posted a picture of his hotel with the message: 'Glad to have a little time off' and included a heart emoji.
He posted another photo with Cassidy, noting: 'Good moments together.'
Payne's journey to fame started in 2008 when he first tried out for X Factor.
At just 14 years old, Payne wowed the judges with his rendition of "Fly Me To The Moon" by Frank Sinatra, but he was eventually cut from the competition.

Nonetheless, Payne decided to give his music career another chance by auditioning for the competition again in 2010. He quickly rose to prominence as a member of One Direction.
He and his previous bandmates Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, and Louis Tomlinson were united by Simon Cowell and ex-judge Nicole Scherzinger, who recognized their talent as a collective.
After a few weeks of bonding and continuous practice, the group wowed Cowell during their audition at Judge's Houses and moved on to the live performances with ease.
The pop star later revealed to Rolling Stone that he recognized the group's global potential in "just a tiny fraction of a second."
After the heartbreaking news of his death, many people have come forward to pay their respects to the young pop star.
A friend shared with the Mail, "Liam was having a tough time; he really wanted to be a better person."
This is an awful, heartbreaking situation. It's hard for anyone to accept. He had everything going for him and put in a tremendous amount of effort, yet he just couldn't overcome his struggles.
For those familiar with Payne, it wasn't really unexpected. Friends and family have been concerned about him for quite some time, as he's had a tough time coping with his worldwide fame and the demanding tour itineraries.
Although it's been thought that he's faced challenges in life since One Direction, friends reveal that he had a 'tender spirit' even before he showed up for his X Factor audition.
Someone mentioned, "There might be an explanation for why certain individuals seek out fame. From a young age, Liam was quite introspective and deeply connected to his emotions."
Suddenly, you find yourself performing in front of millions on the X Factor. Almost overnight, you become one of the most well-known figures globally.
