George updated his 369,000 followers that he will unfortunately be hospitalized for the next month because of persistent heart problems.

"Yesterday, I wasn't feeling well at all and had to go to the hospital. Unfortunately, after undergoing some tests, the doctors discovered that there are problems with my heart," he shared in his update. He also mentioned that he will need to go through more tests as the doctors determine "how serious the issues are and what kind of surgery I will require to recover."

He mentioned that challenges are on the horizon, but he’s fortunate to have a strong network of support. "These next few weeks and months will be tough... spending Christmas in a hospital bed wasn’t part of my plans! However, I’m consistently surrounded by the love and encouragement of my amazing partner Maisie, her family, my own family, and friends. I truly feel that I'm in the best possible situation."

Speaking about his health struggles, George expressed that even though he faces difficult times ahead, he feels fortunate to have identified his issues early on and is determined to confront them with everything he's got. "This is certainly a big surprise and a setback, but I’m going to meet it head-on with all my strength! I consider myself incredibly lucky that it was discovered at this stage."

He assured his fans that he will keep them informed in the weeks ahead, humorously adding that he doesn't have much else to occupy his time while he's in the hospital.

After his post, supportive messages poured in from fans and friends alike, including a note from his bandmate Kaneswaran, who said, "I've got your back, brother. Take it easy and recover quickly ❤️."

Marvin Humes, a member of JLS, also expressed his concerns by saying, "I’m sorry to hear that you’re not feeling well, mate. You’re tough, and you’ll get through this. Sending you a lot of love, buddy ❤️."

Katya Jones, a professional dancer from Strictly Come Dancing, shared a supportive note for George beneath the picture. She wrote, "Wishing you a speedy recovery, Max! Sending lots of positive vibes your way x."
