At 63, McGuigan shared with host Joel Dommett, "We indulged ourselves with food the whole day yesterday, and I had a nice, restful sleep. I'm not so sure about Maura, though – she was drinking late into the night!" Higgins, 34, chuckled and said, "Barry! Keep that to yourself!" McGuigan replied, "You’d never guess it just by looking at her."
Higgins later admitted to Dommett, "I only got an hour and a half of sleep. I went overboard with the food. I had a bottle of wine last night. Just one, Barry! My stomach isn’t feeling great today, to be honest."
"I enjoyed a breakfast burger featuring crispy bacon, egg, and brown sauce, along with seven hash browns on the side." When asked if she finished everything, she replied, "I did," and acknowledged that it was challenging to stop eating. She further mentioned:
She continued, "It's strange how, even though you understand, I can't handle this. You just keep pushing through."

When asked to compare her experience on ITV2's Love Island with I'm A Celebrity, Higgins responded, "It's completely different. In Love Island, you have access to food and a bed. However, what's interesting is that you can discuss a wide range of topics. In Love Island, the conversations mainly revolve around who you're pairing up with, and not much else. So, it's nice to have the opportunity to express more of your personality."
The grand finale of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! 2024 will be broadcast at 9 PM on Sunday, December 8th, on ITV1, STV, and ITVX.
