Jennifer Aniston has expressed a heartfelt tribute to her dear friend and former Friends co-star Matthew Perry on the one-year anniversary of his passing.

Perry passed away on October 28, 2023, due to the immediate consequences of Ketamine after using the drug in uncontrolled amounts. Following his death, an inquiry was started, leading to the arrest of three individuals, one of whom is a doctor who has admitted to providing the late star with the lethal dose.

The actor passed away at the age of 54.

On Monday, October 28, which marked the one-year anniversary of his death, Aniston posted a heartfelt tribute to the beloved star.

Along with a concluding picture of Perry laughing, she posted a nostalgic photo of herself embracing the star from their early career days, another shot of them together on the set of the hit sitcom, and a group photo of the cast sharing a warm hug.

In her post, she kept it straightforward, saying, "One year," accompanied by a heart emoji with a bandage and a dove in flight. She also mentioned the Matthew Perry Foundation in the post.

The Foundation was established shortly after the actor passed away by his long-time publicist, Lisa Kasteler, and his manager, Dough Chapin.

Another person commented, “He has transformed into a lovely angel and is looking down on you! His love for you was immense.”

Aniston and Perry appeared together in the well-known show aimed at millennials, where Aniston played the pampered Rachel Green, who ends up working at a coffee shop after leaving her fiancé at the altar, and Perry portrayed the clever Chandler Bing.

The series premiered in 1994 and continued for a decade, concluding in 2004. The cast kept in contact after the show wrapped up and pursued their own projects, including film roles.
