Amorim Provides Update On Reds Duo

Manchester United's manager, Ruben Amorim, believes that Mason Mount embodies the type of personality the club requires. This comes after Mount had to leave the game during the first half of the impressive 2-1 derby win against City on Sunday.

As the midfielder walked off the field looking clearly distressed, players from both teams came over to show their support. It's evident that everyone is hoping his fortunes will improve soon.

After the match, Amorim shared with the official broadcasters that Noussair Mazraoui, who was substituted in the second half, is a concern regarding his fitness as they prepare for the Carabao Cup quarter-final against Tottenham on Thursday night.

When he was questioned about his decision to head to the tunnel at the end of the match, Ruben explained, "It's really about the situation with Mason and Nous. As soon as the match ended, I immediately thought about going into the tunnel. We have a busy schedule ahead, and it's crucial for us to keep winning. If we don’t win our next match, things could take a turn for the worse."

When questioned about what a pity it is for Mount, given that he seems well-suited to excel in Amorim's setup, the manager expressed his strong admiration for the player.

"Absolutely, he aligns perfectly with our approach," Ruben remarked. "He'll keep fitting in as he’s an excellent player. Moreover, off the field, he embodies the qualities we desire both in this team and as a club."

He made a smooth motion rather than a quick dash. He extended his leg and noticed a sensation.

"It's just unfortunate—there's no issue with Mason Mount's physical condition. He made a poor movement, but he's going to bounce back because we really need him on the team."

Mazraoui, who has shown both adaptability and talent since joining from Bayern Munich last summer, played as a right-wing back during the impressive victory at the Etihad Stadium.

November's Player of the Month showcased his typical blend of intensity and confidence but was substituted in the 78th minute during a triple change, with Antony coming on to replace him.
