Bruno Fernandes reached out to Mason Mount with an encouraging message on social media following the recent injury issue faced by the Manchester United player.

On Friday, United announced that Mount would be sidelined for the holiday matches due to an injury he picked up during the Manchester derby. In his press conference ahead of the Bournemouth game, Ruben Amorim mentioned that the midfielder would be out for several weeks.

The player expressed his feelings of "devastation" regarding the situation on social media. A number of his teammates showed support by liking the post, including Amad, Christian Eriksen, Daniel Gore, Diogo Dalot, Ethan Wheatley, Harry Amass, Harry Maguire, Joshua Zirkzee, Kobbie Mainoo, Leny Yoro, Lisandro Martinez, Manuel Ugarte, Matthijs de Ligt, and Toby Collyer.

"I can't express how crushed I am at this moment," the caption says. "You could likely tell from my expression when it happened. I understood the significance."

"Hey United fans, you might not be familiar with me just yet, but I can promise you this: I will always keep fighting and never lose hope. I've mentioned it before, and I’ll keep pushing myself to the limit to overcome this challenging time, and I won’t stop until we get there."

Mount disabled comments on his post, but Fernandes took to his Instagram Story to publicly support the midfielder. Beneath the shared post, he wrote, "Always with you," and added a red heart emoji for emphasis.

"We'll be there for you every step of the way ????. We'll face challenges together and celebrate our victories together!"

A few hours later, Zirkzee responded in a similar fashion by sharing the post and adding a red heart and folded hands emoji, along with the phrase "Back soon, my bro!" Amorim also stated that the club is committed to supporting Mount "until the end," as long as the player gives his best effort during his recovery from injury.
