Chelsea fans roar x-rated chant at 'Judas' Mason Mount
When Mason Mount showed up at Stamford Bridge as a Manchester United player, Chelsea supporters were quick to express their disapproval of him. They used an explicit chant and even wore a shirt labelled 'Judas' to make their point clear.
In a thrilling match of the Premier League, Chelsea emerged victorious over Manchester United with a score of 4-3. The game was intense, and Cole Palmer's exceptional performance helped the Blues recover from a 3-2 deficit in the 99th minute. He scored two goals in the dying minutes, leading his team to a remarkable triumph.
Manchester United supporter and live streamer Mark Goldbridge was left feeling irked by the outcome of the game. Goldbridge is well-known for his live on-air reactions to matches, and his response to the team’s defeat was widely regarded as impressive among online communities.
The beginning of the game was quite energetic as Conor Gallagher managed to score in the initial five minutes. Later on, Palmer achieved his first goal of the night by taking a penalty just within the first 20 minutes of the game.
As a result, supporters of Chelsea started chanting "Mason, what is the current score?"
However, Alejandro Garnacho and the captain of Red Devils, Bruno Fernandes, managed to equalize the score by half-time.
In the middle of the second half, Garnacho succeeded in scoring a goal, giving Manchester United the lead.
In the 86th minute, Mount was substituted in for the Argentinian winger. However, the Chelsea fans did not welcome him warmly and instead greeted him with a chorus of jeers.
He rejected multiple contract renewal offers from Chelsea and ultimately decided to move to Old Trafford last year for a fee of approximately £60 million, despite having only one year left on his contract.
Mount graduated from Chelsea's academy and achieved great success while at the club. He won the Champions League, Super Cup, and Club World Cup titles. Furthermore, he was recognized as Chelsea player of the year on two separate occasions.
The young adult's debut season in Manchester has been worsened by physical ailments.
As he stepped onto the field again, a crowd began shouting "you departed because you're bad" throughout Stamford Bridge stadium.
A supporter of the Chelsea football club has raised a piece of clothing featuring the previous numerical designation of Mount, featuring the demeaning epithet "Judas". This occurred during the broadcast of a sporting event on TNT Sports.
Someone saw an old Chelsea away shirt that was yellow and had the words 'Judas' and the number '19' on the back, which is the same number that Mount uses at Chelsea.
During the time Mount was playing, he completed 12 passes and carried out two tackles.
He couldn't do anything when Diogo Dalot committed a foul on Noni Madueke inside the penalty area towards the end of the game. As a result of the penalty kick awarded, Palmer scored for his team, giving them three important points. After a minute, Palmer found the back of the net again and secured the victory for Chelsea.
