"Easy 15-Minute Pasta Recipe By Mary Berry"

I always try to find lunch recipes that are fast, simple, and tasty. I stumbled upon Mary Berry's recipe for pasta with Parma ham and mushrooms that only takes 15 minutes to make, and I immediately wanted to give it a go.

Berry recommended the recipe for a regular meal or for an informal gathering in the post she shared on BBC Food. I gave the recipe a go earlier this week, and I absolutely adored the outcome.

Six Ingredients For Homemade Pasta

You can adjust the measurements to your liking since the recipe is meant to feed six people. These are the necessary ingredients:

"Prepare Ingredients While Pasta Boils"

I cut the mushrooms into four pieces but didn't take off the stems. Following Berry's directions, I also sliced the Parma ham into little strips. The pasta was ready after about 10 minutes.

Crispy Parma Ham: My Delicious Fry!

For the following stage, I fried the Parma ham until it became crispy and then moved only 50% of it onto a dish. Subsequently, I placed the mushrooms in the frying pan and cooked them for two minutes.

Added Crème Fraîche Sauce To Complete Dish

Berry recommends adding full-fat crème fraîche to the mushroom and Parma ham mixture and letting it come to a boil prior to introducing the pasta, Parmesan, and parsley.

Nevertheless, I avoided the crème fraîche from separating by taking the pan away from the heat and blending it in towards the conclusion of the cooking process since I utilized low-fat crème fraîche.

"Delicious Outcome Achieved."

I combined the crème fraîche, pasta, and Parmesan cheese before including the leftover Parma ham and parsley.

Overall, it took me about 25 minutes in total, including the time it took to prepare the ingredients. This is only slightly longer than Berry's recommended 15 minutes. However, the end result tasted like it had been prepared for a much longer time.

The end outcome was delectable. Although the prescribed formula required typical spices like salt and pepper, I realized that they weren't necessary since the salty taste of Parma ham already sufficed. Moreover, the ham's crispy consistency perfectly complemented the smooth sauce.

It was the perfect lunch for someone who doesn't want to put in a lot of effort, and I am looking forward to making it again in the near future.
