A new collection of stamps will honor some of the key achievements in the career of cycling icon Sir Mark Cavendish.

The stamp collection takes inspiration from three earlier series that showcase the Manx Missile.
Maxine Cannon from the Isle of Man Post Office remarked that it was appropriate to celebrate the retirement of someone so iconic.
She mentioned: "As a proud Manxman, he has consistently showcased the national flag whenever he wins and has represented his country at both the Island Games and the Commonwealth Games."
The island takes great pride in Mark and all of his accomplishments.
A collection of eight stamps showcasing Sir Mark's career is set to be launched on December 30.
