Lloyd has achieved the impressive feat of becoming the youngest individual with an intellectual impairment classified as LL2 to complete a marathon.

According to her, when we reached the finish line, we were not very talkative. We were overwhelmed with emotion and both of us began to cry.

Ceri is just the right coach for Lloyd, as she has been a competitor for Wales since she was young in running events for both cross country and track.

She has participated in the London Marathon on four separate occasions, and she has also successfully finished both the Boston and Chicago marathons.

Lloyd has been undergoing training for approximately five months.

Preparing Lloyd for a marathon within a short span of five months posed a difficult task.

He had participated in Parkruns for over 30 times, but before Christmas, he had never completed any distance longer than the 5km (3 mile) weekly timed run.

Ceri was required to develop a personalized workout schedule that consisted of a lengthy run each week, in order to acclimatize Lloyd to the intense physical demands of being on his feet for extended periods of time.
