Crackdown on Man Utd rogue traders outside Old Trafford

A surgical procedure occurred at Old Trafford prior to the Premier League match versus Liverpool.
Authorities have started to take action against unscrupulous vendors operating around Old Trafford during Manchester United's game days.
The council in Trafford joined forces with the police and representatives of the club to address the issue of illegal taxi drivers "plying for hire." This collaboration took place prior to the home game against Liverpool scheduled for 7th April.
They also checked the cleanliness and sanitation of the food being prepared and sold at burger and fast food stalls.
Nineteen fines were given out to cars that were unlawfully parked and seventy-three counterfeit items were confiscated.
Before the game, the club's brand protection team and trading standards officers communicated with over 100 licensed taxi drivers and street vendors.
According to a representative from the Trafford Council, certain traders will face legal repercussions due to their violations and uncooperative behavior towards the council officers who were executing their duties.
According to a representative from Greater Manchester Police, they successfully confiscated a considerable amount of unapproved merchandise being sold on the streets and gave warnings to vendors who were breaking the law near Old Trafford.
A comparable clampdown took place prior to the Fulham match on February 24th.
According to Jim Liggett, the director of operations for the club, they are dedicated to aiding the local authorities in their efforts to decrease any adverse effects that the games at Old Trafford may have on the nearby community.
