Malcolm In The Middle making comeback with Muniz, Cranston and Kaczmarek reuniting for four episodes
The popular comedy series Malcolm In The Middle is returning with four new episodes, 25 years after it first debuted.
Frankie Muniz, Bryan Cranston, and Jane Kaczmarek are set to come together again for a new edition of their show, which aired for seven seasons until 2006 and earned seven Emmy Awards, one of which was for outstanding writing in a comedy series.
The series depicts everyday situations from the perspective of the remarkable young boy Malcolm, portrayed by Muniz, who possesses an exceptionally high IQ.
Linwood Boomer, the creator of the original series, will also be back for the new episodes on Disney+. However, a release date has not been revealed yet.
"I've been looking forward to this moment for 18 years. Let's see where Malcolm and his family are at this point," Muniz shared in a video message that came with the announcement.

The announcement also explained why Malcolm and his parents come back together: Malcolm and his daughter find themselves caught up in the family's turmoil when Hal (played by Cranston) and Lois (played by Kaczmarek) insist that he join them for their 40th wedding anniversary celebration.

The show, which first premiered on Fox, can now be streamed on Hulu and Disney+.
