*Spoilers for Outer Banks below!*

Outer Banks season 3 is officially here, which means we get to see John B, Sarah, JJ, Kie, Pope, and Cleo back on our screens as they start their new lives on the island of Poguelandia. Aside from its sepia-toned summertime aesthetic, the show is best known for its crazy plot twists and ships (we're still rooting for JJ and Kie, BTW).

Since season 1, the Pogues have been caught up in a race for hidden treasure that might have ties to John B's estranged father, and the stakes have never been higher than they are now. With this storyline that only grows more intense and action-packed as the series progresses, there are tons of fan theories that have come to fruition across social media — and the stars of the show are all for them.

Madelyn Cline, who plays Sarah Cameron on the beloved Netflix series, recently revealed the fan theory that she wants to see come to life — and it involves JJ, who's played by Rudy Panko.

In a game of Up Close with Cosmopolitan UK, Madelyn dished that she scrolls through OBX fan theories (celebs... they're just like us). "There's a lot of thought put into these theories and frankly I've sent a few to our showrunners because I think they're so fun and they're such good ideas," she said.

"I've said this before, one of my favorites is JJ and Sarah being siblings because of the missing mom connection," she continued. "But our writers haven't bitten yet, so...I don't know, I think it'd be really funny if we found out we were long-lost siblings."

The show has yet to address the whereabouts of Sarah and JJ's mothers, so there's a chance that Madelyn's dreams about this theory might come true in its upcoming fourth season.
