Lorraine Kelly has responded to a popular X/Twitter account that uses humor to criticize her frequent absences from her chat show that bears her name.
The TV presenter has been in charge of her main program on ITV since 2010. Initially, she only worked from Monday to Thursday, but in 2014, she increased her working days to cover five days a week.
Nonetheless, she has not been present in several programs in 2024, to such an extent that an annoyed fan has created an X account to monitor the number of times the 64-year-old has appeared on the show.
The account called "Where is Lorraine?" currently has 11,000 people following it. These followers receive updates every day regarding who is hosting the show, whether it be Kelly or frequent substitute hosts Ranvir Singh or Christine Lampard.
On Friday, Kelly retaliated against an account during her appearance on BBC Radio 4 Woman's Hour by stating that she was indifferent towards it.
She stated that the level of influence she has on people's minds is quite unusual.
"That's funny! It's okay, it doesn't bother me or make a difference to me. I might have been bothered by it in the past, but I'm not anymore."
Kelly, who is a well-known personality from Scotland, shared that she has decided to take a longer break from work due to her mother's poor health condition.
