Dillon Danis stated that he is prepared to take on Jake Paul in the ring, as he believes his originally scheduled fight with Logan Paul should be called off. Danis accused Logan of violating the regulations for their weigh-in process.
The mixed martial arts athlete and content creator who now participates in boxing will share the spotlight with KSI and Tommy Fury for a much-awaited boxing event in Manchester this coming Saturday.
The lead-up to the brawl has been surrounded by scandal since Danis launched a shockingly hostile crusade against Paul, which led to him physically assaulting him with a microphone during their last media event.
The outcome of the fight between Danis and Paul seems uncertain as Danis made several social media posts claiming that Paul had violated some rules in their fight. Later, Danis tweeted that he would fight against Jake instead.
When Paul had said some negative stuff before, Danis responded with a comment that said: "You couldn't make weight for your fights."
Danis says that he's going to face Jake Paul on Saturday evening, not Logan.
Dillon Danis has stated that his much-awaited brawl with Logan Paul should not proceed due to allegations that his adversary violated the regulations of their weigh-in ceremony.
. Instead, he believed that his long-time rival had purposely avoided weighing in on time to gain an unfair advantage. In his opinion, Paul was willing to play dirty to come out on top. Therefore, he refused to accept any results or statistics that suggested Paul had met the deadline. He stood his ground and demanded a fair and just outcome, even if it meant waiting for Paul to weigh-in properly.
In response, Paul shared a clip of himself standing on the weighing machine, revealing his weight as 194.3lbs. However, this led to his adversary becoming angry and saying that although he met the weight requirement, it shouldn't be accepted because the regulations must be followed.
If he wishes to be considered as an authentic boxer, he should abide by the 11 pm cutoff time. Observe the hour he uploaded it. It's unjust; I had to conform to the regulations, and he can't be exempted.
In a separate message, he mentioned that the regulations set by the commission indicate that the time for weigh-ins falls within the time frame of 10 to 11. In case someone fails to make it by 11, it means they have not met the required weight. As per his case, he weighed in at 10:15, unlike Logan who hasn't done it yet.
The committee stated that if he doesn't make it by 11am, the match will be canceled. Despite not meeting the required weight, he insulted the committee and modified the terms to grant himself an additional hour to comply.
It's important that we have a fair competition, and he shouldn't receive any preferential treatment. He already has a lot of influence and power. He failed to meet the weight requirement, and that's the bottom line. It seems like they're doing everything they can to make it harder for me to succeed.
Afterwards, Danis expressed: 'I am not whining. Fairness is crucial. There were no drug examinations, and the weigh-in regulations were violated - I am not someone's doormat. I am in charge here. Logan Paul can go screw himself.'
KSI and Misfits have funded this fraudulent committee that will do anything to receive their payment. In my opinion, this whole situation is completely unacceptable and fake.
The individual posted a picture of a poster indicating a fight between him and Jake Paul. He stated that he will now be competing against the sibling of his initial opponent. There is uncertainty if this will come to fruition, however Jake Paul mentioned he has something unexpected planned for the person.
Danis went on a rant on social media to explain all the mistakes Paul made.
. Paul demonstrated that he had weighed himself, as he registered a weight of 194.3lbs as a WWE athlete.
In the meantime, prior to the match, musician Drake placed a wager of £696,000 in favor of Paul emerging victorious over Danis. If Drake's prediction proves correct, the performer could potentially earn roughly £1.1 million.
Yet again, this sparked anger from Danis who criticized the forecast by expressing on X (formerly known as Twitter): "To say that I'm worth only 850 is an insult."
In another location, there were concerns that the WWE athlete may not be able to fight following Danis' violent outburst towards Paul on Thursday. Before the incident, the two of them were exchanging heated words, but it escalated when Danis hit Paul's forehead with the microphone precisely.
As soon as the incident occurred, Paul was swiftly escorted off the stage while clutching his head in distress. Shortly after the occurrence, Danis made use of social media and shared a snapshot of bloodstains on the ground.
Although, KSI reassured Mail Sport that Paul was in a good condition and capable of participating in the upcoming fight.
