Dillon Danis hits Logan Paul in the head with microphone at chaotic face-off

During their press conference on Thursday, Dillon Danis used a microphone to hit Logan Paul in the head while they were facing each other for their upcoming fight. As a result, their meeting deteriorated into a state of utter chaos.

Danis and Paul are scheduled to have a boxing match at Manchester's AO Arena this coming Saturday (14th of October). Their fight is an undercard of the KSI vs Tommy Fury bout. Rumors have been circulating for weeks that their match might not push through due to the ongoing bitter conflict between the two Americans. Many fans are expecting that their feud could escalate and possibly cause the cancellation of the fight.

On Thursday, people's worries increased when the press conference for KSI vs Fury and Paul vs Danis came to a close with Danis assaulting Paul. This occurred after the YouTuber hurled a small object at the leg of the jiu-jitsu champion. Security staff had to intervene and separate both individuals.

The lead up to the fight between Danis and Paul has been unpleasant due to Danis' repeated targeting of Paul's partner, Nina Agdal, who hails from Denmark. Danis has shared numerous photos and videos of Agdal with other men on social media, resulting in Agdal being given a restraining order in September.

At only 28 years old, Paul became famous on YouTube and later ventured into boxing, WWE, and entrepreneurship. He and fellow YouTuber KSI created the Prime energy drink company in 2019, after Paul had previously fought him in a boxing match. Danis, on the other hand, gained notoriety as a former colleague of UFC star Conor McGregor. Although he has his own experience in mixed martial arts, Danis won a gold medal at the 2016 Pan Jiu-Jitsu No-Gi championship.

Nonetheless, Danis hasn't participated in MMA for the past four years, and he has only competed in two professional fights. A well-known incident involving Danis occurred in 2018 after Khabib Nurmagomedov defeated Conor McGregor to defend his UFC lightweight championship. Nurmagomedov launched himself out of the Octagon and charged into the crowd, with Danis being one of his targets.

Logan Paul attended his initial media event for his upcoming match against Danis, which took place in August.

Danis is inexperienced in boxing matches as he backed out from his scheduled fight against KSI due to insufficient training. Despite being a skilled black-belt holder, Danis was recorded getting caught in a choke by a bouncer during the year 2021. However, it should be noted that the fighter was nursing a significant injury at that time.

On Thursday, KSI (whose actual name is Olajide Olatunji) was captured on camera appearing to spit at John Fury, the dad of his adversary Tommy, who happens to be the half-sibling of the current heavyweight boxing titleholder, Tyson.

Afterwards, when KSI and Tommy Fury were squaring off, John started hitting and ramming his head against the glass partition separating the two fighters.
