Liverpool is still at the top of the standings with 36 points, having one game in hand due to the postponement of their match against Everton last weekend.

Andreas Pereira opened the scoring for Fulham in the 11th minute with a stunning volley after receiving a cross from Antonee Robinson. The ball deflected off Andy Robertson's thigh and slipped past goalkeeper Alisson.

Six minutes later, Robertson received a red card for a reckless tackle on Harry Wilson, which prevented a clear chance for a goal.

Cody Gakpo equalized in the 47th minute with a close-range header, connecting perfectly with Mohamed Salah's beautiful cross. However, Fulham regained the lead in the 76th minute when Rodrigo Muniz managed to score by finishing off Robinson's cross, despite colliding with Alisson in the process.

Liverpool kept up the pressure, and in the 86th minute, Jota skillfully scored by putting the ball past Bernd Leno. This goal allowed Liverpool to just escape what would have been only Slot's second defeat in 23 matches in all competitions as manager of Liverpool.
