The Museum of Liverpool is revisiting the past with a new exhibition that explores the story of Taveners, the beloved candy factory in Liverpool that first opened its doors in 1885.

Sweet: The Taveners Story explores the people responsible for crafting some of the company’s well-known treats, such as lollipops, caramels, and fruit drops.

BBC Radio Merseyside had a conversation with Sharon Brown, the curator of the exhibition.
