The family of a football supporter who passed away while returning home from Liverpool's match on Saturday has referred to him as "a source of joy."

Neil Bradley, 59, was on his way home to Greater Manchester after leaving Anfield stadium when his vehicle collided with a wall and a lamppost on Lister Drive in Liverpool around 10:15 PM GMT.

He was transported to the hospital, where he eventually passed away.

In a statement, his family expressed, “He brought so much joy and could brighten any space with his humor.”

They mentioned that he had an unquenchable passion for life and frequently took pleasure in activities like running, watching trains, listening to rock music, and cheering for his childhood team, Liverpool.

Mr. Bradley hails from Liverpool but recently relocated to Oldham.

The police stated that there were no other cars involved in the accident and are asking anyone who saw it to get in touch with them.

Detective Sergeant Andy Roper from Merseyside Police stated, “Neil attended the Liverpool versus Aston Villa game at Anfield, and we think he left his 2015 red Ford Focus parked close to Newsham Park and Orphan Drive.”

"Even the tiniest detail, which might seem unimportant, could help us find answers for Neil's family."
