Chelsea continued their perfect beginning under new coach Sonia Bompastor, securing a straightforward 3-0 victory against Liverpool at St Helens.

Goals by Mayra Ramirez and Guro Reiten in the closing moments of the first half paved the way for the win, with Aggie Beever-Jones finishing off the scoring right at the end.

The victory brought the champions just one point behind Manchester City, who are at the top of the Women’s Super League, while also allowing them to maintain a game in hand. Meanwhile, Liverpool continues to look for their first win at their new home ground.

Bompastor has now managed to secure six victories in as many matches in the tournament, scoring a total of 13 goals in their last three games.

West Ham secured their first victory of the Women’s Super League season, narrowly defeating Leicester 1-0 thanks to a first-half goal from Viviane Asseyi.

Manuela Pavi provided the assist for the game's first goal, which was netted by the French forward just before the end of stoppage time at Chigwell Construction Stadium.

The home team restricted Leicester to just a few opportunities, and the visiting side seldom appeared likely to take advantage of them.

The Irons recorded their first shutout of the season, allowing them to climb to ninth place in the standings. They sit just one spot behind their rivals, with both teams having accumulated five points.

Honoka Hayashi's header in the second half secured a 1-1 tie for Everton against their struggling rivals, Crystal Palace.

It seemed like the visitors were headed for yet another loss after Indiah-Paige Riley scored for Palace just 29 seconds into the match. However, Hayashi's contribution allowed them to secure their third point of the season.

Everton had a terrible beginning as they struggled to handle My Cato's run into the penalty area. Cato set up Riley, who calmly finished to give them an early lead.

The fans were engaged as Hayashi hit the crossbar just three minutes later, and Heather Payne nearly set up an equalizer after Palace goalkeeper Shae Yanez was caught off guard in the penalty area.

Everton managed to level the score in the 70th minute when Hayashi scored with a header from a cross delivered by Veatriki Sarri, marking just their second goal of the season.

As a result, the new team in this season's WSL, Palace, holds a two-point advantage over their rivals from Sunday.
