After much talk and anticipation, Linkin Park has finally revealed some exciting news. The popular nu-metal band announced on Thursday (Sept. 5) that they have a new lead singer, drummer, upcoming tour, album, and even dropped a new song.

Linkin Park New Album, FROM ZERO, Out In November

Linkin Park is set to drop their new album, FROM ZERO, on November 15, marking their first release since 2017. Fans can reserve their copy by pre-ordering or pre-saving it through Warner Records.

Exciting news from the band, Linkin Park! They have welcomed a new vocalist, Emily Armstrong of Dead Sara, and a new drummer, Colin Brittain, to the group. The remainder of the band includes original members Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Phoenix, and Joe Hahn.

Furthermore, Linkin Park has debuted their latest single after a hiatus of seven years. The track, titled "The Emptiness Machine," is now available for listening. The band revealed the news through a live performance on their social media platforms.

In a recent statement, Shinoda discussed the new chapter for Linkin Park. He mentioned that before they were known as Linkin Park, their band name was Xero. The album title reflects their humble start and the path they are currently on. The music on this album represents the past, present, and future of the band, combining their familiar sound with freshness and vitality. The album was created with gratitude for their new and old band members, friends, family, and fans. Linkin Park is proud of their evolution over the years and eager for what lies ahead.

Shinoda also discussed the fresh group of band members, mentioning, "As we continued collaborating with Emily and Colin, we found ourselves appreciating their exceptional skills, their presence, and the artistic creations we produced together even more. We are truly inspired by this new group of musicians and the dynamic and exciting new music we have produced together. We are blending the familiar sound elements we are known for with new and unexplored ones."

In August, Linkin Park hinted at some exciting news that was supposed to be announced on August 28. The band had a timer on their website counting down to 2:15 p.m. Eastern time that day, but when the timer reached zero, nothing happened. Instead, it started counting up again. Fans noticed a glitch at 00:09:05 and speculated that the news would actually be revealed on September 5. They were correct. Linkin Park then posted on social media that the news would be announced on September 5, encouraging fans to "be part of something" on that day.

Chester Bennington, a key member and singer of Linkin Park, sadly committed suicide on July 20, 2017, when he was 41 years old. The band has only performed one concert after Bennington's passing, which was a tribute show held in the autumn of 2017.
