Liam Manning: From Player to Coach

Liam Manning is a former English professional football player and current coach. Born on 24th September 1986, Manning’s football talent was evident from a young age. He joined Tottenham Hotspur Football Academy at the age of 10. Liam Manning went on to play for several clubs including Arsenal, Portsmouth, and Real Sociedad. He retired from professional football at the age of 27 in 2013 due to persistent knee injuries.

Coaching Career

After retiring from professional football, Liam Manning transitioned into coaching. He earned his UEFA A coaching license which was followed by his appointment as a coach at West Ham United. Under the guidance of Liam, West Ham's U-18 team was promoted to the Premier League 2. He then moved on to Brighton & Hove Albion Academy as a coach, before becoming the assistant manager of the New York City FC. Liam Manning’s success as a coach at a young age has earned him high praise and a reputation as a rising star in the world of football.
