Lille Accepts Bid From Man Utd

Manchester United have successfully agreed to a £42 million offer with Lille for the transfer of defender Leny Yoro, according to reports.

An article in The Sun indicated that United are on the verge of securing a deal to bring the young player to the team.

But, the young French player is reportedly more interested in joining Real Madrid, the team that won the UEFA Champions League.

Fabrizio Romano reports that the French league team is encouraging the defender to agree to the offer from Manchester United.

Yet, he is still more interested in moving to Real Madrid and continues to wait for the 15-time European champions.

Yoro has the decision to make on whether to join Erik ten Hag's team or wait for a possible transfer to Bernabeu.

United Finalizes Deal For De Ligt

Manchester United have reportedly reached an agreement on personal terms with Bayern Munich defender Matthijs de Ligt, according to the Manchester Evening News.

"Bayern is asking for £42 million for the 24-year-old player, and United is hopeful that a deal for Dutch international De Ligt will be finalized," as mentioned by the source.

The article states that Manchester United is interested in acquiring two central defenders. They made a second offer of £45m with potential to rise to £50m for Everton's player Jarrad Branthwaite, but it was turned down.

Turkey's Trio For Wing-back Duty

Ferdi Kadioglu, who impressed with Turkey in the Euro 2024 quarter-finals, is being sought after by three big European clubs.

As reported by the Mirror, Fenerbahce's wing-back has received offers from Manchester United, Arsenal, and Borussia Dortmund.

According to the Mirror, Manchester United are apparently planning to contact Ferdi Kadioglu, a player that Arsenal has been interested in for a long time. Kadioglu received praise from Arsenal legend Lee Dixon during Euro 2024.

Arsenal made a proposal to sign the Fenerbahce wing-back in June, as reported by Turkish media. However, the player decided to focus on his Euros tournament before thinking about a transfer.

"Now that Turkey has been eliminated by the Netherlands, it seems that a fierce competition will take place between three teams to sign the defender."

Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund have reportedly made offers, meaning that United will need to work harder to catch up and secure a deal in the competition.

The Olympic Games can be streamed on discovery+, which is the exclusive platform to catch all the action of Paris 2024 this season.
