The One Show viewers shocked as Lenny Henry debuts totally different look

The One Show viewers were gobsmacked by Sir Lenny Henry's huge change to his look when he appeared on the show.

But viewers were all distracted by his completely different hair.

Lenny, who is the face of Comic Relief, is known for his close-shaved look.

But as viewers tuned in to The One Show they saw he now had a full head of dreadlocked hair.

Confused viewers immediately took to Twitter to comment.

Sarah wrote: "Bloody hell he looks so different #TheOneShow"

Delilah asked: "Are those extension dreadlocks Lenny Henry is sporting? If not his hair grows awful fast!! #TheOneShow"

Steve E Robinson added: "7 Hours for a haircut #TheOneShow I'm now wondering if they're extension's or his own hair."

Sam Quek and Ronan Keating were hosting the show tonight.

Jay McGuiness and Tom Parker from The Wanted were also in the studio to reveal their new single Rule The World.

The One Show returns to BBC One at 7pm on weekdays.
