Lennox Lewis' enormous net worth, rarely seen wife and Anthony Joshua feud
Lennox Lewis is making a comeback to the boxing scene tonight (December 21), but instead of stepping into the ring, he will be taking on a role in presenting.
The 59-year-old ex-heavyweight champion, who held the title without dispute, will team up with Becky Ives, Carl Frampton, and Steve Bunce to provide boxing enthusiasts with coverage of Tyson Fury's much-awaited rematch against Oleksandr Usyk. They will be delivering insights live from the Kingdom Arena in Saudi Arabia for TNT Sports.
This marks the second time this year that the 'Gypsy King' and the unbeaten Ukrainian have gone head-to-head. They first faced off at the same location in May, where Usyk managed to secure a close split-decision win against his long-time opponent. The 37-year-old not only handed Fury his first professional defeat but also improved his own record to 22-0. Additionally, Usyk became the first undisputed champion in the heavyweight division since Lewis achieved the feat in the late 1990s.

With an impressive overall record of 42 wins, 2 losses, and 1 draw, Lewis was a dominant presence during his peak years, defeating many notable fighters in the heavyweight class before retiring in 2003. He achieved victories over renowned opponents like Frank Bruno, Shannon Briggs, Mike Tyson, and Vitali Klitschko, among others. However, his most significant accomplishment came in November 1999 when he claimed the title of undisputed world champion.
In May of that year, Lewis faced Evander Holyfield for the first time and managed to keep his WBC title after the fight ended in a split draw. Six months later, their rematch would alter his life significantly. Lewis won Holyfield's WBA and IBF titles, along with the vacant IBO belt, making him the undisputed champion.

Although Lewis and Chang have largely kept their relationship private, he referred to her as the "foundation" of his family in a heartfelt birthday message from February 2022. In a series of photos shared on Instagram, he expressed: "Today, I feel fortunate to celebrate another year of life with my wonderful wife Violet."
"She is the cornerstone of our family and my companion in life, love, and joy. Like a beautiful flower, she represents honesty and devotion, while also reflecting grace, spiritual insight, and humility. Happy Earth Day, Violet. You are the one who brings color and vibrancy to my life. I'm grateful that you chose to share this journey with me."
Rivalry With Anthony Joshua
Lewis and Anthony Joshua got into a heated exchange after AJ's surprising defeat to Andy Ruiz Jr in 2019. Before their first match in June, Joshua had an unblemished record of 22 wins, no losses, and held the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and IBO heavyweight titles. This made him a strong favorite heading into the fight to retain his titles.
Nonetheless, 35-year-old Ruiz Jr shocked everyone when he defeated Joshua with a knockout in the seventh round of their match. After the fight, Lewis raised doubts about AJ's trainer, Rob McCracken, by tweeting: "After watching that fight, I can't say AJ was completely ready."
In a candid interview with Sky Sports, Joshua didn't hold back, labeling one of Britain's boxing legends as a "clown" and stating that they are fundamentally different. He remarked, "Lennox is a fool. I have no respect for Lennox."

When the interviewer suggested that Lewis had made a remarkable impact on boxing, Joshua quickly responded, "So what? I am too. Lennox and I are different. My legacy is to relax and watch the new generation rise, rather than being actively involved. I want to simply enjoy and recognize the effort it takes to reach that level."
"Lennox and I are very different. We come from different backgrounds." In reaction to the outburst, Lewis returned to X to express: "I'm let down by AJ's comments, but I realize that this 'jealousy' story only came about after I spoke out against them regarding the Wilder talks. Suddenly, I'm labeled as a hater. Consider who gains from this simplistic notion? It's not AJ. It's not me."
In December 2019, Joshua got his revenge against Ruiz Jr in a rematch, winning by unanimous decision after 12 rounds at the Diriyah Arena in Saudi Arabia. However, his career has stumbled since then, with three losses in his last eight matches.
