Lauren Boebert's Son Made Sex Tape With Fellow Suspect: Affidavit
As per the affidavit after Tyler Boebert's detention, it is alleged that he created a recording of a sexual nature with a female individual who was under 18 years old.
The Rifle Police Department apprehended Boebert, the grown-up offspring of Representative Lauren Boebert, on February 27.
He is being accused of 22 different charges, such as unlawfully entering vehicles, stealing property and possessing identification documents unlawfully.
The charges do not pertain to the alleged sex video that was mentioned by a minor quoted in the police statement. That minor disclosed that the video was distributed among individuals they were acquainted with.
The Police Department of Rifle has stated through a post on Facebook that they are still investigating, and no additional details can be revealed at this moment.
The police stated that until proven guilty in a court of law, all suspects are believed to be innocent.
The statement stated that the inquiry started on February 20th after the authorities were notified by a lady who had claimed that her wallet had been stolen from her vehicle, which had been parked and was broken into the previous day.
The purse had a card that was taken without permission, and later, it was used to make purchases at four different places on the dates of February 19 and 20.
An unsuccessful attempt was made to buy products worth $717 from the online store Shein.com.
Overall, according to the legal document, authorities stated that four instances of suspected unauthorized entry into automobiles were recorded.
The authorities used monetary documents and recorded footage to locate a quartet of suspects, comprising of one woman and three men. One of the suspects, namely Tyler Boebert, was recognized as wearing a sweatshirt that had "Shooters Grill" printed on it.
Lauren Boebert used to be the proprietor of the Shooters Grill bistro located in Rifle.
As per the affidavit, Tyler Boebert consented to converse with a law enforcement officer on his doorstep. The officer queried him and subsequently detained him.
According to jail records from Garfield County, Tyler Boebert was granted personal recognizance bond following a court hearing held on February 28. Colorado Public Radio reported that he has to appear in court again on April 11.
