Lana Del Rey has astonished her followers by tying the knot with her partner Jeremy Dufrene merely a month after they revealed their romance to the world.
The 39-year-old singer known for “Born to Die” originally crossed paths with the alligator tour guide during a show in Louisiana back in 2019, when she joined one of his boat tours. Sources indicate that they reconnected this past May and were seen holding hands at the Leeds Festival in August.
Del Rey tied the knot in a charming ceremony held in Des Allemandes, Louisiana, right by the bayou where Dufrene runs his swamp boat tours. Her father, Robert Grant, escorted her down the aisle as she wore a delicate white ruffled dress and held a bouquet.
Following the ceremony, Del Rey and the father of three held a reception at the public harbor under a large tent. The "Video Games" singer added a blue ribbon to her hair as her "something blue."

A lot of fans were surprised by Del Rey's wedding and quickly shared their astonishment online. One user on X/Twitter asked, "Didn't she just meet this guy yesterday? What did I miss?"
In the meantime, another user expressed their surprise by saying, "This is truly outrageous. It feels like just yesterday they were spotted together! I'm really happy for her, but wow!"
Nevertheless, certain fans expressed their encouragement for the singer, with one commenter saying, “I find this pretty adorable. She could definitely date or marry whoever she chooses. As long as they treat her right, I genuinely wish her happiness.”
In May of this year, the singer known for "Summertime Sadness" shared a post on Instagram featuring Dufrene, referring to him as her "guy" in the caption. This sparked some curiosity among fans. In the photos, she was seen alongside her two siblings and Dufrene, with the caption reading, "Family with my guy @jeremy.dufrene @codyjay."
When information about Del Rey’s romance with Dufrene came to light earlier this spring, a source revealed to MailOnline: “Her friends and team looked into his background because they were concerned he might be taking advantage of her. However, he runs a profitable business and has no need for Lana’s financial support.”
They mentioned, “He’s a great person, and she is very drawn to him. He’s a wonderful dad, and everyone who knows him speaks highly of him.”
Dufrene is a tour guide for Arthur’s Airboat Tours in Louisiana, recognized for leading visitors through the state’s unique swamps and marshes where they can see various wildlife. The company’s website states that these tours feature a variety of animals, including alligators, herons, egrets, and more than 300 different bird species.
Prior to starting his career as a tour guide, Dufrene is said to have been employed at a chemical facility. He is also a father of three children, including two daughters and a son, from an earlier relationship.
Dufrene has spent time with other celebrities before Del Rey. Back in 2015, Glen Powell, known for his role in Twisters, posted a picture on Instagram showing him with Dufrene on an airboat.
He wrote alongside the post: “J-Bone and G-Trash here. We're both available and looking to meet new people. You can catch us either in the swamp, at the Daiquiris To-Go spot next door, or on Craigslist Personals. Apologies for the fun we’re having. (Just kidding, not really sorry).”
