On February 8, 2012, Lana Del Rey, a performer and songwriter, was on stage at the P&E Wing event that took place at The Village Recording Studios in Los Angeles, California. Her performance was captured in a photo by Michael Kovac/WireImage.

Lana Del Rey has just revealed that she'll be releasing another album called "Lasso" in 2024, which will have more of a country vibe. However, her supporters are still enthralled with her initial LP "Born to Die". In fact, it's still performing quite well on the charts. This week, the album has achieved something monumental that only one other female artist in American history has achieved before.

The album Born to Die has managed to hold its position in the Billboard 200 for 520 weeks, which is roughly 10 years. This is quite extraordinary, as it means that the album has been constantly streamed and bought by numerous individuals on a weekly basis.

A second woman, Del Rey, has accomplished the impressive accomplishment of having one of her albums on the Billboard 200 for a decade. The first woman to achieve this amazing feat was Adele and her well-known project 21 has maintained a position on the chart for a total of 596 weeks.

The album called Born to Die is currently ranked at number 60, which is quite impressive considering it was released ten years ago. Luminate reported that the album sold 13,717 units in the United States last week. This number is a combination of actual album purchases as well as the number of individual songs streamed and sold from the album.

Even though Del Rey is now on par with Adele's accomplishment, Adele is still holding strong on the music charts. Her album 21 has dropped on the recent Billboard 200 chart, now sitting at the 176th spot, as it approaches an impressive 600 weeks on the chart. Luminate reports that the album, which won a Grammy award, has sold an additional 8,000 equivalent copies in the most recent tracking period.

It's worth highlighting Fleetwood Mac's Rumours album, which has remained on the Billboard 200 for 565 weeks. This band comprises male and female musicians, Stevie Nicks and the deceased Christine McVie among them. They deserve recognition for their impressive accomplishment.

When taking a look at all the musicians, a significant number of them have had at least one album be featured on the Billboard 200 for ten years. Pink Floyd's album, Dark Side of the Moon, still holds the impressive record for the most amount of time spent on the chart, with a total of 988 counts. Other famous artists like Journey, Bruno Mars, Metallica, Eminem, and Creedence Clearwater Revival, among others, have also joined this esteemed group, which consists of fewer than 20 albums in total.

Additional news from Forbes has highlighted Lana Del Rey achieving a remarkable milestone on the Billboard Charts. Hugh McIntyre elaborates on this achievement.
